FREE LITERATURE AVAILABLE!

Hi, Friends! As many of you know,  our World Service Organization has programs that make ACA literature available to therapists offices, prisons, recovery institutions and hospitals who have patients or residents seeking emotional sobriety.

Thanks to a new development, THESE RECIPIENTS CAN SIMPLY EMAIL A REQUEST DIRECTLY TO THE PUBLIC SERVICE OFFICE, AND THE APPROPRIATE LITERATURE WILL BE SHIPPED DIRECTLY TO THEM.

I'm sharing this news with you today, as many of you have expressed the desire to pass it on to anyone you think would like to take advantage of this incredible opportunity.

Programs of ACA That Make Free Literature Available

ACA WSO has several programs to make literature available to the public at no charge primarily through the Member and Public Service (MPS) Committee. MPS has free literature for correctional facilities and other institutions available via the MPS Hospitals & Institutions (H&I) SubCommittee program. If an inmate or patient in a hospital contacts WSO and requests this material either directly or through the H&I Committee via email at hichair@adultchildren.org, WSO will send them the appropriate literature.

The MPS Public Info SubCommittee  also has a program where literature is made available to the public via libraries, doctor's offices, therapy offices, etc. We can always use volunteers to help coordinate these literature placements in communities and get the word out to the professional offices. If a doctor or therapist writes to WSO at info@adultchildren.org and requests literature and includes their name, the name of their practice and complete shipping address, WSO will send them a sample of our literature to use with the patients.

This is a win-win situation as ACA suggests therapy be used in conjunction with our recovery program and the doctors and therapists often end up referring their patients to ACA meetings for additional support.
